Features
Bright orange, needle, or small-granular crystal. It deliquesces easily in air, dissolves very easily in water and becomes the acidic and orange solution. In an acid medium, Sodium bichromate is a strong oxidant.
Application
It is mainly used in the manufacture of Chromic acid, Chrome pigment and other Chromic salts. It is also used in the industries of tanning leather, textile, electroplating, medicine, oil and fat, petroleum, dye and drilling, etc.
It can be used to make chromium(chromic anhydride, chromium oxide green, potassium dichromate, etc), basic sky blue dye, saccharin, and oxidant used to produce synthesis camphor and synthesis fiber.
In the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used as an oxidant in making amine benzene alum, folic acid, Leifunuer, etc.
In the printing and dyeing industry, it can be post_treatment agency of aniline dyes and oxidant of acid dyes.
In the plating industry, it can be used to passivate the materials after galvanization to increase brightness.
In the leather industry, it can be used to tan the materials.
In the glass industry, Used as a green coloring
